What we process

Google sign-in provides your account identifier, name, email address, and profile image. We use this information to authenticate you and keep chat access separated by account.

Model requests

Your prompts, selected text attachments, conversation context, and tool results are sent to OpenRouter and the selected model provider to generate a response. Ox Alpha is operated by an anonymous third-party provider. Its OpenRouter listing states that prompts and completions are retained by that provider and are not used for training.

Chat storage

When a database is configured, chats are stored under a one-way hash of your account identifier. Without a database, chats are stored only in the current browser. Removing browser data removes that local history.

Connected tools

The URL reader fetches only public HTTP and HTTPS pages and blocks local or private network addresses. Page content is sent back to the selected model as part of the tool result.

Advertising

Google AdSense is loaded only on public guide pages, not inside private chat screens. Google may use cookies or similar technologies on those guide pages according to its own policies and your configured consent controls. Sponsor messages shown during generation are separate direct sponsor inventory and do not require a click.

Security and retention

API keys remain on the server. Requests are authenticated, size-limited, and rate-limited. You can delete individual chats from the sidebar. Database retention and account deletion procedures should be finalized before public launch.
